Mjolnir Gelsim

Mjolnir Gelsim, also known as 1-2, is a veteran-owned gel ball milsim team and event company based in Queensland. It was founded in late 2022 by a group of mates who had played together across a few separate teams, and it sits at the crossover between a competitive squad and an organiser that puts on milsim days for the wider scene.

The team is run by founder Braydon, a former Artillery Observer in the Australian Army, and co-founder Monk, who has over ten years of milsim experience and currently serves in the Australian Army Reserve. Its roster of seven includes several members with active or reserve military backgrounds, and one who has played gel ball since the sport's inception in Australia. Their stated aim is to provide a gel ball experience that is authentic and enjoyable while holding to core milsim principles.

Mjolnir runs ticketed milsim events rather than a fixed weekly schedule, with games such as The Ossetian Ambush staged at Gelsim Ranch in Milmerran, Queensland. The way to play is to buy an event ticket through their store and connect through their socials. They keep an active presence across their own website, Instagram and the OneTwoMilsim YouTube channel, and are one of the more established, recognisable names in the Queensland gel ball milsim scene.
