These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Gelball.com.au (the "site"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

Anyone may browse the public content of the site. To submit content, save favourites, or use member features you must register and verify your email. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account.

You agree not to:

• break any law, or encourage others to, including the laws that govern gel blasters and related equipment in your region;
• submit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or infringing;
• impersonate another person, or misrepresent your connection to a venue or business;
• upload malware, attempt to break site security, probe or scrape the site beyond normal use, or bypass access controls or moderation;
• submit spam, or use the site to advertise unrelated products or services;
• collect other users' personal information from the site.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, at our discretion.

Members can submit content such as fields, retailers, servers, teams, and events. Submissions do not go live automatically. They enter a moderation queue and are reviewed before publication. We may approve, edit, reject with a reason, or remove any submission. We are not obliged to publish anything you submit.

You must have the right to submit what you submit. By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute that content on the site for the purpose of operating the directory. You retain ownership of your own content. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit, and facts should be supported by a source where relevant.

Field owners and retailers may request owner access to manage their own listing. Owner access is granted only after a manual verification step. Owners may edit only their own claimed listings, and owner edits are moderated before going live rather than published silently. Owners must not claim a listing they are not entitled to manage, and must keep their listing information honest and current. We may revoke owner access if a claim is found to be invalid or if these terms are breached.

The site is a community directory. We do not warrant that any listing, legality summary, rule, event, link, or other content is accurate, complete, current, or fit for any purpose. Content may be submitted by the community or by owners and is moderated, not independently verified in person. Details such as addresses, hours, fees, and contact details change, and links can break. You should confirm anything important directly with the relevant venue, business, or authority before relying on it.

The site links to external websites, calendars, and news sources, and integrates with third-party services such as Discord for account linking. We do not control those sites and services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service's own terms.

The site design, layout, and our original content are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute substantial parts of the site without permission, except for content you submitted or content clearly made available for reuse. News on the site is provided as short blurbs with links out to the original source, not as re-hosted articles.

We provide the site on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or withdraw features at any time, and parts of the site that depend on external providers may be unavailable from time to time.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You may stop using the site and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
